Hi, I’m Dena!
NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Clinical Mental Health Therapist
After coaching hundreds of individuals on their health and fitness journeys, it became clear to me that clients don't need more willpower or discipline—they need to learn a different way of relating to food, body, and movement.
This realization led to me pursue my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I was driven to gain the knowledge and tools to create a more holistic approach to coaching — one that honors the connection between mental, emotional, and physical health.
Today, I integrate my backgrounds in fitness, nutrition, and mental health to offer a trauma-informed approach to wellness. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to listen to their bodies, trust themselves, and move toward their goals with compassion and curiosity rather than criticism.

What does it mean to be “Trauma-Informed?”
Trauma-informed coaching is an approach to wellness that recognizes how lived experiences, cultural influences, and societal messages shape our relationship to food, body, and movement.
My coaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where your emotional and physical experiences are valued and respected.
During each session, we focus on listening to your body’s cues, honoring your capacity, and moving at a pace that feels supportive for your nervous system.
Rather than chasing perfection or pushing through pain, I help clients build a compassionate and sustainable relationship with movement, nutrition, and their bodies.
Your body is always speaking. Let’s hear what it has to say!

Coaching is action-oriented and centered on helping clients build sustainable habits, work toward personal wellness goals, and develop a healthier relationship with movement and nutrition.
My coaching approach is trauma-informed and emotionally attuned, but is not a substitute for psychotherapy or mental health treatment.
